On Monday 22nd October the pupils of Scoil Mhuire headed to Croke Park to support our Gaelic football team. There was delight for Scoil Mhuire after they won the Corn Tadgh Ó Cionn Cup.  They won the match 8-4 to 1-2. This is the first time that Scoil Mhuire has had a gaelic team so huge congratulations to all involved.  This Scoil Mhuire team has made history. Photos can be seen in the Gallery.

Parent/Teacher Meetings will take place on Tuesday 27th November and Thursday 29th November from 2.30 - 4.30pm.

6th Class had a Cake Sale on Wednesday 24th October part of their Commitment Ceremony for Confirmation and raised €535 for charity. Well done to all  6th Class pupils.

The Fashion Show from recycled materials took place on Thursday 25th October was a fantastic day and well done to the pupils for the wonderful creativity they displayed in their outfits. We have budding designers in our midst.   Photos can be seen in the Gallery.

We are tracking attendance again this year so it is important for all pupils to be in school each day unless they are ill.  It is also important that pupils are in school on time. We remind them to “Be on the Line by 10 to 9”.

Can I remind you of our healthy lunch policy in Scoil Mhuire. Please send a healthy lunch with your child on the days that school lunches are not provided. School lunches have begun for 1st to 6th Class and your child has been informed the day they will receive lunches.

Due to nut allergies, Scoil Mhuire has become a nut fee zone.  All nuts and nut products are now excluded from school.  

If you have changed your  address or phone number please inform the secretary as this information is needed if your child is ill or for sending text a parent information
